Sunflower's Pearl Dust adds an iridescent sheen and produces shimmering effects with just a subtle undertone of color to all of your homemade goodies! When dusted on white surfaces, Pearl Dust exhibits a unique translucent sheen. Combine with Petal Dusts to create custom colors or effects.

How to use Pearl Dust

• Shake onto iced cookies, cupcakes, cakes, chocolates, etc... and tap off excess when dry.
• Brush or shake onto pastillage, gumpaste or fondant and then tap off excess when dry.
• Mix with oil-based media or at least 80-proof alcohol (preferably stronger) to make a paint that can be easily applied with a brush onto cookies, cakes, gumpaste, fondant or chocolates.
• Airbrushing: use alcohol-based liquid paint mixture in airbrush machine.
• Brush onto dry royal icing, gumpaste or fondant.
• Mix 1 TB into royal or buttercream icing to add shimmer to your sweets.
• Brush onto dry room temperature homemade chocolates; or mix into melted chocolate for a colorful swirl or other designs. 
• Mix into melted Jolly Ranchers (or other candy), Pulled Sugar or Isomalt for a gorgeous iridescent or shimmery effect.
